Fox Run Community
Fox Run is a large-scale development designed by our studio for our client Caivan Developments. The community in a high-demand area of south-west Ottawa and is comprised of single-detached and attached homes.
Upon completion, this community will be home for over 2,100 families. Currently 525 of the units are complete and occupied.
Our vision for Fox Run is a community with small-town charm complemented by modern amenities.
The architectural language responds to the challenge of creating a new 2100+ unit community that is contextually appropriate for the context of the historic village of Richmond in Ottawa.
Richmond is a rural village that was founded in 1818, with many architectural references dating that early era in Canadian history. Our design plays homage to history, while setting the precedent and groundwork for a viable, sustained future for the community.
The project plan introduces an incredibly diverse collection of homes. Our goal was to work closely with our client and authoritative jurisdiction to create meaningful spaces that can attract a variety of buyers and levels of affordability.
The homes are meticulously designed and finely crafted with upgraded finishes. The site also includes retail spaces, schools, nature with walking trails, playing fields, parks, and a naturalized community pond which are all close to home.
