Colour Design Lead

Hi, my name is Fernanda Quintana-Best, and I have been with Q4A for the past 19 years in various design roles.

Designing spaces and the interaction of families within their homes is always at the forefront of my mind.

I am extremely passionate about providing true use and meaning for every room of the house, by adapting to the new ways and ever-changing needs of living in a home.

I have also led the design of exterior colour and material selections for various communities in Canada and the United States. This has expanded my knowledge of materials, finishes, and demographics, specifying exterior finishes and colour placement for mid-rise and low-rise scale projects.

I consider myself a travel enthusiast with a long bucket list of places to visit and experience.

I believe that to understand architecture, one must focus on the intricate details, appreciate the structural form, and immerse oneself in the history of the building(s).
