Dan Abramsky

Dip. Arch. Tech, B.A.

Hi, I'm Dan Abramsky and I've been with Q4 Architects' Toronto office for almost 15 years.

I'm a graduate of George Brown College in Architectural Technology and I also hold a B.A. from McGill University.

As a busy member of Q4A's Design Team, I'm responsible for designs and drawings of our many residential low-rise typologies, including singles and townhomes.

The craft and creativeness of my work activities keeps me energized and engaged throughout my workday.

I also bring to my work, ten years of residential experience as a trim & finishing carpenter and cabinetmaker.

I'm an avid architecture fan, constantly fascinated by and drawn to the structures that surround us. There are so many engaging stories of our built environment, and I am endlessly captivated by architectural masterpieces, failures, and everything in between.

Beyond my workday, I'm a busy father of my 3 growing boys.  I like to keep active and fit with daily exercise, stretching, and a healthy diet.

In the milder months, I commute to work each day by cycle from my home downtown.

I love art, sculpture, and industrial design, and I seek out galleries, craft shows, and exhibits to browse in my free time.  Film, music, and travel also loom large on my varied bucket lists.

Did I mention I'm a foodie too?
